Bellefonte church gives free clothes away

BELLEFONTE, Pa. (WJAC) — One church in Bellefonte held its regular clothing bank Saturday, where folks could get all kinds of clothes for free. "They wanted someplace for the local people to come, who didn't have to pay for any clothing," Cathy Torsell, the event's organizer, told 6 News. She said the clothing bank started with two members of the St. John's United Church of Christ around 2017. "We started with — I think [one of the members] said — two racks, and probably about 24 pieces of clothing.

Penguins trade forward Teddy Blueger to Vegas

Pittsburgh (WJAC) — The Pittsburgh Penguins announced Wednesday that they have traded forward Teddy Blueger to the Vegas Golden Knights for defenseman Peter DiLiberatore and a 2024 third-round draft pick. PFBC announces new state record: Yellow Perch!

HARRISBURG, DAUPHIN CO. (WOLF) — The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) is pleased to announce a new state record Yellow Perch! On the afternoon of April 9, 2021, angler Kirk Rudzinski, 63, of Erie, departed the East Avenue Boat Launch along with friend Sam Troup, 62, also of Erie, to enjoy a few hours of fishing. The friends traveled four to five miles east to the area of the Sunoco Cribs where they anchored in sight of the high-rise building at the Brevillier Village community.
