JOHNSTOWN — It's hard to find a silver lining after a car crashes into the front of a dilapidated building you're trying to restore.
But for John Burley, head of Everything Ice, the destruction was an opportunity: He didn't like the way the offices in the front of the building were set up anyway.
Everything Ice manufactures ice rinks that are sent around the world with "made in Johnstown" written on the side.
Saturday was the first ever Lorain/Stonycreek hiking trails fall festival. Despite heavy rain, crowds gathered to enjoy the beautiful October scenery in Lorain borough park.

Costumes were encouraged and the kids did not disappoint with their spooky creations.
Organizers share their happiness in the turnout despite the weather.
NEW YORK (AP) — The first-place New York Mets added some much-needed punch at designated hitter Friday, acquiring Daniel Vogelbach from the Pittsburgh Pirates in a trade for rookie reliever Colin Holderman.
The burly Vogelbach, a left-handed hitter and an All-Star in 2019 with Seattle, was batting .228 with 12 home runs, 34 RBIs and a .769 OPS in 75 games for the rebuilding Pirates.
“We wanted to get an offensive player and we did that in landing Vogey,” first-year Mets general manager Billy Eppler said.
