Penguins defenseman Kris Letang returns to practice 10 days after suffering stroke

Pittsburgh (WJAC) — Pittsburgh Penguins veteran defenseman Kris Letang returned to practice Thursday, just ten days after suffering a stroke. The team announced last week that Letang would be "out indefinitely" after suffering his second stroke on Monday, Nov. 28th. "Kris reported symptoms to the training staff and was immediately taken to the hospital for testing," said GM Ron Hextall. Letang previously missed playing time in 2014 after suffering a stroke.

Sean 'Diddy' Combs accused of sexual assault by another woman

(TND) — Another woman is accusing Sean "Diddy" Combs of sexual assault in a new lawsuit filed on Thursday. Documents obtained by CNN report April Lampros met the rapper in 1994 when she was a student at New York's Fashion Institute of Technology and accuses Combs of sexually assaulting her four times between the mid-1990s and early 2000s. The complaint further accuses him of battery, assault, negligent infliction of emotional distress and violation of the victims of gender-motivated violence protection law.

Death of Centre County Tow-Truck Driver Raises Safety Concerns for Roadside Responders

CENTRE COUNTY/CLINTON COUNTY, Pa — Over the weekend, a Centre County based tow truck driver was killed in Clinton County while removing a disabled vehicle on a highway. Jim Corl’s death has local first responders shaken, for more reasons than one. Corl was tragically killed outside his tow truck in an accident on Interstate-80 eastbound, by the Loganton exit. “Jim was just one of those individuals that would do anything for you at any time, drop whatever he was doing, always had a kind word and he was just a wonderful man to be around,” said Ted Gabriel, a Fire Police Lieutenant at Alpha Fire Company in State College.

Man accused of assaulting two people with wooden club, taunting shotgun

COALPORT, Pa. (WJAC) — State police say a man is behind bars after allegedly assaulting two people at a Minit Mart and threatening them with a shotgun. According to a release, troopers say the incident happened at the Coalport Minit Mart along Main Street sometime around 11:30 p.m. Friday. Troopers say 59-year-old Kenneth Selvage assaulted a 38-year-old man and 35-year-old woman with a wooden club. According to the release, Selvage went to his vehicle and got a shotgun.
